Agile Regional Collaborative Bank: First of its kind NHS Collaborative Bank

The challenge​

In line with the NHSI People Plan, Trusts are keen to develop collaborative banks with other local Trusts, increasing the potential number of shifts to those working flexibly. With limited internal resource, or established technology or processes available, progress has been slow in many instances.

Agile Regional Collaborative Bank - The answer

Agile Regional Collaborative Bank includes 5 NHS Trusts, from across 3 STPs, all of which were existing MV clients of our sister company, Holt Doctors. The Trusts were keen to work with us to develop a Collaborative Bank that could sit alongside their existing local bank and agency solutions – providing an end to end approach – managed by Agile Workforce on their behalf.

The Trusts were already familiar with our IT booking platform, LMS, and were confident in the extensive medical recruitment experience of our team to help develop and build Agile Regional Collaborative Bank - and were recently joined by a 6th trust United Lincolnshire.

Through extensive collaboration across all stakeholders, a truly ground-breaking Collaborative Bank has been developed – with enhanced IT functionality, a self-fill APP, and an experienced, full-service team supporting its success.

It is notable that Agile Regional Collaborative Bank started from zero in terms of registered bank candidates – needing to build a brand new database of candidates, without the use of auto-enrolment – making these results even more impressive.
